>>> ABRASERVICE : WEAR RESISTANT STEELS
Wear resistant steels are part of the range of steels distributed by IMS OZEL CELIK ,in Turkey, and IMS Group, in Europe.
They are meant to withstand agents wich cause certain types of wear at critical points in machineries and plants.
They are described on individual technical sheets

DILLIMAX 690 T
is a high strengh quenched and tempere, fine grained structural steel with a minimum yield strength of 690 MPa (100 ksi) in its delivery condition (referring to the lowest thickness range), wich mechanical properties are archived by water quenching followed by tempering. DILLIMAX 690 T
fulfils the requirements of EN 10137. It is preferentially used for welded steel structures within mechanical constructions, plant constructions and structural steel works, such as machines for structural engineering, conveyng plants, hoists, cranes, flood gates, bridges and frameworks.

Abrasion resistant tubes :
Through the induction hardening process, we are able to manufacture elbow sections in a wide range of sizes, including both standard sizes (3D and 5D) and made-tomeasure products. Through this method, we are also able to guarantee a high level of precision which is absolutely critical for this part of the tube. Through the versatility of the induction hardening process, as shown below, end-users can considerably reduce installation time and welding costs, thus guaranteeing fewer defects on the tubes.
NASPipe
: The NASPipe tubes are manufactured on an automatic production line using induction hardening technology with the purpose of producing seamless steel tube with good abrasion resistant properties. The tube is slowly heated and then quickly cooled with water jets, thus acquiring its ability to resist the most severe cases of abrasion in the field of the pneumatic and hydraulic transport of inert materials. Compared to mild steel tubes, the NASPipe tubes represent an economical solution avoiding the necessity of frequent interventions on often inaccessible installations. As they can be up to 12 metres long, the NASPipe tubes also make it possible to avoid the use of generally expensive flanges. Their life expectancty is 5 times longer than mild steel tubes. The maximum operating temperature is 160 °C. Due to the highly precise heat treatment to which these tubes are subjected, they can obtain a relatively thick martensitic structure of 600 HB up to half of the wall thickness and a ferritic-pearlitic structure of about 300 HB for the rest of the wall.As a result, the internal wall of NASPipe tubes has a very good abrasion resistance, while the outside retains a good level of toughness and weldability. The tubes will then present a monolithic structure making it easier to measure thickness using ultrasound technology.
ABRATUBE 400 :
The main advantage of this tube is that while being highly abrasion resistant (minimum 360 HB), they are also very easy to install. The tube can be welded with basic electrodes, it is easy to work on them by attaching flanges, carrying out headto-head welding etc. The ABRATUBE 400 seamless tube is produced through the extrusion process. Thanks to the flexibility of this process, we are able to supply to our clients a wide range of sizes between ø 70 and 219,1 mm, with a wall thickness ranging from 4,5 to 60 mm. We also supply tubes in standard lengths, as well as elbows and parts according to customer specifications.
CREUSABRO tubes
: For larger diameter material than the ABRATUBE 400 tubes, we can offer rolled and welded CREUSABRO® 4800(P) or CREUSABRO® 8000 steel tubes. Elbow sections are available (either pressed or segmented) according to the dimensions required. The available size range of the tubes depends on thickness, diameter and material spcification.
